Regrow Teeth

roughentumbleJust read an article about a clinical trial coming out of Japan that might, potentially, regrow people's teeth, and, like, man.
If I could regrow teeth I would absolutely get vampire fangs put in. Because even if it sucks I can just have a do over. I want to see how buckwild and awesome and cool the world of cosmetic dentistry and bodymods gets when the promise of regrowing the teeth lays in wait. How awesome is that?
Like yes, it's amazing for the people who need it, but let's be real that's the first thing everyone thought of. I want to think about the COOL TOOTH FUTURE, I want everyone to have FANGS, and other WEIRD SHIT. Would some people opt to just have teeth removed entirely for a while? Like some sort of extreme pony play thing or something? Get teeth elongated, carved into shark teeth, get jewels embedded in them? It could get weird, and it could get fun, and you'd have an entire backup plan if it all went sideways.
The article said that, essentially, because of the mechanics of How the tooth regrowth works, it'd only work once. So it's still pretty risky to get teeth mods, even if the tooth regrowth is safe and easy and cheap, since you're giving up your only shot at regrowth. But still, I think there are people who'd risk it and have fun doing it, and I wanna' see what their mouths end up like.
