Flower picking!

roughentumbleWent flower picking with my mom today in the back garden! Put these up in my windowsill :)
Step-sis and step-dad were there as well. It was hot as anything, even with the shady hat my mom was kind enough to loan me. My boots, stylishly black with red plaid around the top and soles, fuzzy inside so as to stop the rubber from clinging to skin, are certainly GOOD rain boots! But not precisely suited for the weather. I had to stand in the shade and pull my feet out, into the breeze. It was sauna-like in there, almost painful to stand in. I went inside first and stood on an air vent for relief.
I'm definitely not built for heat, being away from Florida has reinforced this, and admittedly choosing a boot bound to get hot is utter folly. But! My solution is simple! I shall simply not go outside in summer ;)
